On thursday 6.8.2015 at 17:30 there will be a festive opening of the art exhibition in the local chapel in Maříž. The artists are sculptor Martin Ceplecha, and painter Marcela Burdová. The exhibition will be open for the whole duration of SLAVONICE FEST (14:00 - 19:00). Free entry.

A small Dance Orchestra who play something for everybody. They entertain the audience both with their appearance and their costumes. A large part of this band are members of the Sklep theatre group (Tomáš Hanák, Lenka Vychodilová, Jana Hanáková, Fero Burda), others are our leading creative artists (Zdeněk Lhotský, František Skála, Aleš Najbrt) and music virtuosos (Jiří Podzimek, Luděk Polívka, Roman Fojtíček).
The name of this band “Robotic Point and the Marmalade System!“ is better known in the shortened version “Robo Marsys“, or even shorter “Robo“. The intention of its founders was to create a combination of a machinelike style with accuracy and viscous music distortion. A robot and a marmalade, do you understand?
Vložte kočku (translated as Feed me a cat, VK for short) is a four-piece band from Prague, Czech Republic. The band is renowned for their combined usage of live electronics, triggered drums, five-string violin and piano. Surreal lyrics, math-rock time signatures and intense atmospherics are the trademark of their gigs.
Electroswing: It is not only about packed out dance halls, but also +an excuse to dress up in your best retro attire. Mydy Rabycad´s presentation becomes a sophisticated and amusing interpretation of a rediscovered genre.
A dance, singing and striptease boyband from Prague 5 – Smíchov
Right after her birth she spoke and pronounced well. That´s why she loved to recite works in her childhood. In the “Rossia“ recitation competition she was awarded the “Čajka“ wristwatch. In 1986 she joined the Sklep theatre group and she still performs with them today. Lenka performs under the artistic pseudonym Lemura Lepá.
A young band of three members from South Bohemia. Bass guitar, guitar and drums. In their music output Lekses tries to amalgamate different music alternatives, but the core is rock ´n roll plus lyrics. The words of their songs are exceptionally important, everybody can find themselves in them and explain them according to their personality either as optimists or as pessimists.
An electropop band which consists of producer and composer Armin Effenberger and singer Vanda Choco. They write about their music: “… there were collages from card, pictures, real fabrics, metal… which had been photographed and put through photoshop…. we have realized that we work and create our music in a very similar way… it is a sort of a music collage, thousands of samples from the past filtered through our presence and sent into the future… that´s why Cartonnage.”
These Czech rock legends will play in the original line-up: Bára Basiková, Michal Pavlíček, Jiří Veselý, Klaudius Kryšpín and Vendula Kašpárková. Following the huge success of the originally one-off, sold-out reunion concert in the O2 Arena organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the genesis of Stromboli, the group have decided to show a one-hour selection from the recent concert in Prague at a small number of selected festivals and open-air stages.
At SLAVONICE FEST Lenka will present her intimate program “Movements of a woman´s soul”, which will drift on the wave of alternative pop with shards of jazz. Lenka will be accompanied by these musicians: on piano – Matej Benko, double-bass – Jan Tengler, guitars – Lukáš Pelikán. For 12 years Lenka sang with the band Laura and her tigers, since 2012 she has been performing solo, in recent years she has worked closely with Michal Horáček with whom she is also preparing her third solo album.
Prague rock band which was among the main protagonists of Czechoslovak movement of the underground from 1968-1988 and has inspired the formation of many other underground bands. This avant-garde band involuntarily ended up in opposition to the communist regime in Czechoslovakia and because of its non-conformist performances its members were very often persecuted and imprisoned.
A controversial Czech band from Prague which places itself between the styles of trash metal and rock ´n roll. This band stands out because of its peculiar and elemental performances, uncommon instrumental links and the vocals of Radek Škarohlíd. During their concerts the musicians often satirize popular personalities of Czech show business and often pronounce loudly their points of view.
The band consists of two brothers Jan and Matěj Homola (both guitar and vocals), bassist Jiří Zemánek and drummer Zdeněk (Fenek) Steiner. The band has played around withvaried, hard and at the same time melodic guitars, Czech lyrics and concerts full of energy and they have been gaining and maintaining favour with audiences since 1996.
In contrast to their first very alternative and over-dimensioned sounding debut album, which was positively appraised by critics, the new single ,Virtuality, has moved the band forward. It keeps the surgically accurate arrangements of the first album, but at the same time Virtuality breathes a heavy dubstep sound full of dynamic overpressure with a feeling for melody and elaborate musicality.
Electro-dance project of Honza Horáček and Aleš Zenkl, both known for playing with Meky Žbirka and Michal Hrůza. Space Junkie combines electronic dance beats with live instruments and vocals.
